Participant context
Identity, contact, location, cooperative or agribusiness relationship, verification and consent.
The planned Farmers Database will organise structured farmer records, farm activity and consented service context into a governed foundation for ExcelAgroVC’s wider digital agriculture infrastructure.
Phase 2 capability being developed
Farmers and agribusinesses are often asked for the same information by different programmes and service providers. The result can be fragmented records, repeated field work and decisions made without a complete operating context.
ExcelAgroVC’s proposed Farmers Database is intended to create a governed reference that links identity, farm and production information to specific, consented service needs. It is a foundation for connection—not a public directory, an automatic decision-maker or a replacement for participating institutions.
Each subject has a distinct purpose and safeguard. Together they describe how information could move from field capture to accountable use.
The value is in the complete chain: useful capture, visible verification, fresh consent, controlled access and a record that can be corrected.
The objective is not simply to collect more data. The proposed model turns the minimum necessary information into accountable context for planning and service coordination.
Identity, contact, location, cooperative or agribusiness relationship, verification and consent.
Farm size, operating area, crops, livestock, assets, production cycles and authorised observations.
Finance needs, insurance interests, logistics requirements, transactions and service milestones where lawfully collected.
Relevant market, weather, environmental and programme information with source and timing attached.
Phase 2 is planned as a separate, authenticated system with its own security, consent and operating controls. No farmer record is searchable from this information website.
We welcome public institutions, cooperatives, researchers and responsible technology partners interested in the proposed Phase 2 infrastructure.
