Digitising Agriculture. Connecting Value Chains. Financing Growth.

ExcelAgroVC is developing the common digital infrastructure that connects agricultural production, data, finance, insurance, logistics and market access.

The digital infrastructure beneath a connected agricultural economy.

ExcelAgroVC is designed as a common layer that helps agricultural enterprises and existing institutions work from clearer, consented and more useful information.

It does not replace banks, insurers, logistics companies, public agencies or technology providers. It is intended to connect them around shared agricultural context and interoperable workflows.

One platform. Many participants. One connected value chain.

Each participant keeps its role. The shared infrastructure improves how trusted information and service pathways move between them.

Infrastructure designed to connect, not compete.

The platform is being developed progressively. Each layer must earn its place through usefulness, governance and responsible integration.

Digital identity

Structured profiles for agricultural enterprises, cooperatives and production activity.

Developing progressively

Agricultural data

Consented records that can support traceability, planning and institutional understanding.

Developing progressively

Finance connectivity

Secure pathways for qualified institutions to assess needs and deliver suitable services.

Responsible AI supports decisions. It does not replace accountability.

AI is intended for decision support, segmentation, advisory, market intelligence, monitoring and anomaly detection. Participating institutions retain KYC, credit approval and regulatory responsibility.

Personalised guidance must be validated, explained and used with appropriate human oversight.

A proposed Kogi pilot designed to learn before scaling.

The Kogi initiative described in the project concept is proposed—not a claim of a live deployment. Its purpose would be to test governance, onboarding, interoperability and practical value in a bounded environment.

  1. PrepareValidate partners, governance, data responsibilities and pilot scope.
  2. PilotIntroduce selected capabilities with clear operating ownership.
  3. LearnMeasure usefulness, inclusion, risk, adoption and service quality.
  4. Scale responsiblyExtend only what evidence, capacity and safeguards support.

Built from a whole-value-chain view of agriculture.

ExcelAgroVC’s story grew from the MIT Beyond Food Bootcamp in Taiwan, where the work explored sustainability, transparency, health, innovation, processing and the complete food lifecycle.

That whole-system perspective now guides a broader ambition: a digital operating system for agricultural value chains.
