Zakari Yakubu is Head of Agriculture, Farmer Aggregation & Field Operations at ExcelAgroVC. He is an agricultural extension and field-operations professional with experience in farmer mobilisation, community development, farmer aggregation, agricultural production coordination and rural projects.
He holds an HND in Agricultural Extension and Management from Akperan Orshi College of Agriculture and an NCE in Agricultural Science from Kogi State College of Education. He is pursuing an M.Sc. in Agricultural Extension at the University of Agriculture, Makurdi.
Zakari’s experience includes FADAMA community-development activities, farmer aggregation under the Anchor Borrowers Programme and large-scale cassava production coordination. At ExcelAgroVC, he helps build the field network that identifies, onboards, verifies, supports and continuously engages farmers.
