A Nigerian/Canadian from Kebbi state. Abu Benna has a certificate in “New Ventures Leadership” from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from their Global Entrepreneurship Program, an Executive Masters (Management) from Durham University Business School, Certificate in HLS2x Contracts from the Harvard University, BSc. Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan and a BA. (Arts) from the University of Saskatchewan.

Abu is the Advisor – Supply Chain Management (Contract) with Cenovus Energy in Canada where he’s responsible for the Strategic Category Management of a construction service portfolio with annual recurring spend of $150m to $250m. He is also a Director with Bimunai Corporation in Canada and a member of Valhalla Angels, (A Valhalla Private Capital Company) an investor only membership group committed to building Western Canadian industry through early stage angel investing. One of Canada’s leading angel investment groups.

He is the Founder of Beaconchain (A Blockchain Technology Company) and has also worked with Cameco Corporation, Swifttrade, Apple and Insightrix.
