ONOJA EMMANUEL
Onoja Emmanuel is the managing consultant with Praxis Luminar Company limited. He holds a B.Sc Hons. In Accounting from the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU, 1979 set), Peat Marwick, Ani, Ogunde & Co (KPMG), Chartered Accountants, ACA, 1986. He also attended Kings college Lagos and G.S.S. Dekina in Kogi State.
He worked with Taraku Mills limited from 1986-1992 as the Finance manager, Benue Cement company limited from 1986-1988 as the Financial Accountant, Peat Marwick Ani Ogunde & Co (KPMG) from 1983-1986 as a trainee accountant and the United Bank for Africa Plc from 1980-1983 as a trainee and loan officer.
Mr. Onoja Emmanuel has a vast experience in Finance, Agriculture (Commodity Trading), Negotiation and the capital market.
Highlights of experience:
- Lead Consultant to M/S I.R.M.G. LTD on the $1.5b Abuja Light Rail (Lot 2) Project, handling the Financial Feasibility Study, 2007.
- M/S Royal Choice Inn Ltd:
Handling feasibility studies for the PPP transaction for ABU Zaria Main Campus Guest House, the UNIBEN, Benin City, Guest House, the UNIJOS Guest House in Jos, and the CAN Jubilee Resort, Central Area, Abuja FCT.
- Kogi Microfinance Bank, Lokoja:
Providing consultancy services for recapitalization exercises, between 2003 and 2015 and overseeing the private placements and public offers of the bank’s shares to meet CBN benchmarks
- Sourcing funds, both long term and working capital, for clients across industry sectors.
- Design and implementation of computerized accounting systems, deploying software packages; Solomon, QuickBooks, Odoo software.
- Human resources management, particularly recruitment
